Trash Garden
Transforming an otherwise serene environment of a little French garden, I creating an aestheticized landfill. I collected litter from the streets of Pont-Aven in order to create a environment that reveals the amount of waste we produce as a result of our daily consumption. Instead of litter sprinkled on the pavement I wove each candy wrapper and coke can into the trees and covered the tree trunks with aluminum foil—wrapping nature unnecessarily with unneeded packaging- exhibiting each piece of trash as an extension of nature.
